Welded Gabion Standard Specification
Welded wire gabion mesh is made of high quality low carbon steel wire.
The word gabion comes from the Italian word 'gabionne' meaning big cages. And that's exactly what a gabion basket is-a big cage with rocks, stones (or practically anything creative you can think of). Heavy duty 4mm and 5mm galvanized welded mesh for strength and durability are used.
